Code of Conduct

Education and community building are the core goals of our conference. We want the time you spend with us to be valuable and rewarding. We aim to create a welcoming environment for everyone, free from harassment and discrimination.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to: discrimination or unfair treatment based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, use of sexual language or imagery, unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices, etc. Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior in not allowed.

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible to an event volunteer and/or organizer. Conference participants violating our policies may be expelled from the conference at the discretion of the event organizers.

Open communication and expression is encouraged at the conference, and to practice the intention for a respectful, safe, and collaborative learning environment and experience for everyone.
